Granddaughter Annika invited us to attend the showing of "Once," a musical about a guy in Dublin who gave up on love and music, and the girl who inspired him to dream again. Annika was the Associate Director and Associate Movement Director of this production which was staged at the well-known Theatre L'Homme Dieu. It was fun to get some scuttlebutt about the "behind the scenes" actions and decisions. All of the actors were outstanding in their roles and their musical ability. It made for a wonderful night of original Irish music!
Our group stayed at the Arrowwood Resort on Lake Darling. Bobby, Inger, Fred, and I played 36 holes of golf on the Atikwa course. It was lush, long, and undulating! And the greens coaxed far too many three putts!
We held a birthday party, including Grammy made birthday cupcakes, for Annika and Fred.
And, lunch around the pool made it a complete vacation. Thanks for the invite Annika!
Inger, Fred, Roberta, I and Bobby (not pictured) thoroughly enjoyed the show!
WELCOME
It was a great day for a parade! High, floating cumulus clouds, warm temperatures, little wind, and a tremendous turnout of onlookers all contributed to a wonderful Independence Day Parade in Hendricks, Minnesota. Roberta and I, and Todd and Inger and Annika took our Gospel Music repertoire on to the Christ Lutheran Church float to help celebrate the day. The crowd response along the parade route was very rewarding!

We've got a nice crop of holly hocks on the farm this year.

An early morning sunrise displays a cherry red color because of all the smoke in the air from the Canadian wild fires.
Mitzi took to the stage in West Fargo at Essentia Health Plaza in an outstanding performance of "Cats." The cast of twenty-five, plus orchestra and crew were impressive and the 'CATS' showed their abilities to jump, stretch, sing, and prance!
