ON STAGE

Granddaughter Annika has had a really busy, really exciting fall  theater season.  Starting on July 20 she was a SWING for four different parts in the play "Godspell."  ( A swing is an understudy for more than one role ready to go on stage with only a moments notice).  On August 13, she got to perform one of the roles she was ready for.  It went very well!  The play was presented at the Artistry Theater in Bloomington.

Todd's Bluegrass Band, The Oak Lake String Band, is shown performing at McCrory Gardens in Brookings.  He, JD, Corey, and  Craig played numerous gigs this summer.

Annika also celebrated her birthday, which is on August 30. A brunch at COV proved to be very enjoyable!

Roberta, Bobby and I make music but Bobby is out of the camera range!

From Sept 21 to Oct 1, Annika played the role of Maggie in A  Chorus Line, which was presented at the Main Street  Stage, in Anoka, by Lyric Arts Theater.

And, in a surprise crossing of our paths, a jamming friend, and genuine friend, from 20 years ago, Tim, and I got to reprise some of our early hits!  More!  More!

Annika was featured on one of the publicity bills for "Godspell!"  She is on the right.

Baseball was our concentration on a couple of evenings this fall.  We visited CHS Field in St. Paul to watch the Saints play and then Target Field for the Twins.   Both games were very entertaining.

WELCOME

Bobby and I harmonize with our fiddles.   Bobby is playing the instrument purchased by Grandpa P J Ness, from Sears and Roebuck, in the early 1900's!

I had a fairly successful golf outcome in our Hendricks Golf League Tournament.  I won the 2nd place trophy for the Senior Championship Flight and won the long drive award.    I had a few near misses, but so did everyone else!
