BIRTHDAY   GIRL

ANNIKA

Kirby

WELCOME

Roberta and I sure do have some talented and interesting grand children!

Granddaughter Annika, center, was asked by her friend Lydia, right, to back her in her farewell concert for the Twin Cities.  Lydia plans on moving west and going back to school for a music education degree.

Annika joined three other friends to help Lydia in her concert at the Como Park Pavilion.

The concert was well attended and very well performed for a bevy of music lovers!

And lastly, cousins Annika and Kirby, both revealed that they have parts in upcoming musicals this fall, Annika in Minneapolis and Kirby in Fargo.  Good luck to you both as you pursue "on stage" excellence!

The candles are no match for Annika!

Summer 2021 turns out to be very eventful.   Thus, a second page of fun.

Annika celebrated her 24th birthday by hosting a party at her place for the family.  Marvelous pizza and delicious cake were served and Annika received many fun and useable gifts.

     Kirby stars in

"All Shook Up"

Granddaughter Kjerstine starred in the Fargo Moorhead Community Theater's presentation of "All Shook Up."  The musical was presented five times on July 22, 23, 24 and 25 at the TAK Music Venue in Dilworth, MN.  Kirby played the role of Mayor Matilda of a small town where an Elvis character arrived and tried to loosen up some of the conservative mores of the community.  Matilda and the rest of the townspeople resisted for a while but eventually succumbed to the enthusiasm and energy of the young people who wanted the music.

Kirby's big number in the show was, "The Devil Made Me do It."

The show was very entertaining with many actors exhibiting their extensive talents.

It was great seeing Kirby back onstage, doing what she enjoys.
