Bobby, in his official South Dakota Rushmore baseball cap, seems to have some answers concerning the baseball conundrum. Bobby is completing his Junior Year at St. Olaf College from his mom's home in Hamel, MN.
This Goldfinch thinks the sunflower seed is just the thing for early lunch!
The Corona Virus is causing all kinds of havoc on our planet Earth. Here on the South Dakota prairie we are in our 7th week of self-isolation (as of May 5, 2020). Many states are starting their reopening of small businesses, even as the death toll keeps increasing (over 70,000 Americans now dead because of Covid 19. Roberta and I are quite careful about contacts but have done some grocery shopping and hardware purchasing in Hendricks. We have bought a few items off the internet. The Hendricks Golf Course opened up on June 27 and I have done some golfing attempting to keep a 6 foot space between golfers and limiting cart usage to only one rider. We haven't seen Kjerstie or Mitzi, both in Fargo, since we've been back in SoDak but we see Todd a few times a week and have met Inger, Annika, and Bobby a couple of times in Redwood Falls.
A selfie of the self-distancing picnickers!
Annika seems to be contemplating the qualities of a baseball as the Redwood River flows behind her. Annika does her Archer Daniels Midland job from home.
Todd and I have been golfing a couple of times as we prepare for our quest of the 3 o'clock championship at the Hendricks Golf Club. We partnered last year for the first time and it triggered Todd to replace his driver and putter. What a joy to get to have your son as a golf partner! Todd is teaching his SDSU classes from home on the Zoom App!
